Why You Need A Designer

People ask “Why do I need a designer? I can design it myself and save the design fee.” If you are a do it yourself then by all means do it yourself. But a good designer will not only save you time and money but a lot of money. By knowing what to do, when to do it and how to do. I have over 35 years in the design and building industry. I designed my first kitchen in 1986. During that time I have perfected my methods and process's to produce the best looking best priced kitchens in the least amount of time.

  • Cabinet selections styles and finishes. Do you want a beautiful walnut wood grain of a soft sage green matte lacquer?
  • Appliances. Smart or dumb? Ranges or cooktops? Gas of induction? Standard depth, counter depth or integrated refrigerators? The chooses are endless and I help you get to the best solution for your lifestyle.
  • Countertops. My most asked questions. What is quartz? Why use porcelain? Are natural stones better than man made?
  • Lighting. How do we light it? Good question.
  • Plumbing fixtures. Gold, chrome or white? Yes white plumbing fixtures are back.
  • Flooring.
  • Backsplashes.

  • How does it all go together?

I use my vast resources, tools and experience to create hard winning kitchens:


  • CAD software to lay it all out to make sure everything works together.
  • Photo realistic renderings to show your what it looks like.
  • Procure all of the major products prior to construction to prevent supply chain and construction delays.
  • Work closely with the contractors to make sure it gets done right the first time.
  • Move you in and cook dinner.
  • It sounds easy but it’s not.
